Maddi's 1st Sleepover

Maddi's friend Parker spent the night with us last Tuesday night. They had such a great time playing, dancing, and watching Yo Gabba Gabba! Chris says it's so great that Maddi's first sleepover was a boy (sure you can all hear the sarcasm in that comment)! Seriously, though Chris & I could probably have not even been at home that night and they wouldn't have missed us. We would love to have Parker stay again sometime!

Chris and I had the chance to go to the Cardinals vs Pirates game in St Louis a couple of weeks ago. Go Cards - they won 11 - 1!!!

Sunday Afternoon

Sunday, we had lunch at Hemingway's in Bass Pro Shops so I could meet my Great Aunt Karen (Nana Sharon's sister) & Uncle Garland for the first time! We enjoyed a nice lunch and then wandered throughout the store for a while visiting - I of course had to be in the "guy picture" as well - as you can see above. Then we went to Cold Stone Creamery and had some yummy ice cream. The visit was short but we all really enjoyed it, can't wait to see them again!

Wedding

Last Saturday, we attended my cousin's wedding. Maddi had so much fun dancing at the reception.

Vacation!

We recently spent a week at the Lake of the Ozarks with the Gray Family and had so much fun! We missed Lindsey & David (Maddi was glad Grady made an appearance for a couple of days), & Courtney, but we welcome Emma Grace Henson into the Gray family now - can't wait to meet her, much congrats to Lindsey, David, & Grady!!! Everyone enjoyed Maddi telling them she was wearing her "baby soup" to the pool, and Chris & I sure enjoyed not being at work for a week and spending time with the family.

Happy Fourth of July!

We had a fun filled day for the Fourth. We had lunch at Grandma Janette & Grandpa Darrell's and then to Justin & Nicole's for dinner and fireworks.

Mexico

As most of you know, Chris & I went to Mexico for my 30th birthday with Karl, Janet, Kallan, Karlee, & Claire (Kallan's best friend). It was such an awesome experience and we enjoyed our time to ourselves but we were also very happy to get back to home to Maddi! Below are just a few of the pictures we took.
