Happy Birthday Brooke!

We went to Brooke's 4th birthday party and we had tons of fun!  I played with Brooke and some of her other friends that were there and Hudson had a great time with cousin Taylor and her boyfriend Jaden playing with a balloon.  (This is a huge deal b/c Hudson doesn't really like people he's not around much.)

California

One of Mommy's bridal gown companies had a fashion show in Newport Beach, California so Mommy & Daddy went on a little mini vacation.  They were there for 3 days so Hudson and I stayed with Nana Sharon & Papa Randy.  They had a good time but I think they missed us a just a little :). 



6 Months

Hudson is 6 months old!  He has two teeth now, is doing pretty good at sitting up on his own, loves green beans and carrots, and we think he will start crawling any day!  His 6 month check-up will be a month behind (he goes July 2) so I don't have any height & weight stats for you, but I will be sure to keep you updated.  

BBQ with Friends

Sunday afternoon, we had some friends over.  Brandon, Cammie, & Haydon, Aunt Net & Uncle Charley, and Mark, Amy, Abigail, & Colton came over for a BBQ.  Daddy cooked some awesome burgers and hot dogs and we got to play in the pool, in my new bounce house, and with my smart car.  Hudson didn't have much of a nap that day so when he fell asleep at 6:00, Mommy was a little nervous about how the night was going to end up, but he slept until 6:00 AM Monday morning!  I got to stay up later than normal because my friends were here and I didn't have to go to Lisa's the next day.  I must have been pretty tired too because I slept until almost 8:00 which never happens.  

Teething

Lately this is what we see Hudson doing all the time - chewing on something.  This is because he just got his first tooth!  Mommy tried to get a picture of the tooth but as you can imagine, that wasn't the easiest task to accomplish.  Maybe she'll try again later.  

Happy Birthday, Wyatt!

Saturday we went to Wyatt's 2nd birthday party.  After presents and cake & ice cream, Jake hooked up a sprinkler that we got to play in!  Hudson tried out his new shades (didn't seem to mind them at all) and thought that Wyatt, Jaxon, and I were pretty funny running through the water.  

The Zoo

Friday Mommy & Daddy were both off work so they took us to the zoo.  We saw lots of animals and I was very impressed with the hippo. I got to feed the goats in the petting zoo and then my favorite part was getting to feed a giraffe!  They are soooo tall!  It was very hot that day and I got really tired and cranky for a little while so Daddy held Hudson and I got to ride in the stroller and take a break.  

Party Time!!!

My birthday party was a little late this year but that's ok, it was so much fun!  I picked Disney princesses for my theme so Mommy got me lots of princess decorations and an awesome cake.  I got lots of really nice presents - like a new bike and a smart car!  After cake and ice cream, Charlie, Wyatt, & I enjoyed some fun in my pool.  

Happy Mother's Day!

As always, Mommy had the prettiest flowers for Mother's Day and Daddy helped Hudson and I also get her a nice set of lotions and bubble bath - we love you Mommy!

Spending time at work

 Hudson should know lots about putting tuxedos together because he has got to watch a lot of it going on lately!  Jessie (Karl's dog) keeps a watchful eye on him if she is around. 

Since Karl's broke their record for the most tuxedos going out in one weekend (Yay!!!), I had to go to work with Mommy on Sunday morning so they could work on getting everything torn down and dry cleaned.  Remi got to go too - and yes, those are shoes she is sitting on and there were MANY more piles just like this one that had to be cleaned!  I also know that Remi could use a new hair do, she is "well-loved."

"Remi" (who is of course named after Cousin Remi) rides in the car with us every day now.  Karlee gave me some of her old toys and had this really cool carseat.  So now Remi rides in the middle of me and Hudson in the backseat!

Happy Birthday Maddi

I had a great birthday!  Mommy bought a giant chocolate chip cookie that I got to take to Lisa's and share with all my friends and then that night we went to Orange Leaf with Aunt Net & Uncle Charley for some ice cream.  Aunt Net also told me that night that she is going to have a baby!  She is due November 23rd; I am very excited to be getting a new cousin!  

5 Months

5 Months Old!!!  Brother is getting to be such a big boy!  At his last dr appt, he weighed almost 17 pounds!  He is in the 50th percentile for height, weight, and head circumference.  Mommy says I was always in the 75+ on the head part :).  He is such a big smiler, loves to be tickled, and "talks" back ALOT if you talk to him.  He also LOVES me!  He is always watching everything I do.  Must be because I am the best big sister in the world!  

Emma Grace Sweeten

Emma Grace Sweeten was welcomed into the world on April 30 by proud parents Jake & Bobbi and big brother Wyatt!  Mommy was very excited that she got to be there when she was born!  She was

7 lbs 9 oz and 20 3/4 inches long.  Mommy and Emma are both doing great!
