Taking Charge

Hudson and I had a talk and we decided that I should keep control of the blog for now.  He has a lot going on with eating, dirty diapers, sleeping, eating, dirty diapers, sleeping...you get the picture :).  So the blog will mostly be me talking for a little while longer. I'll do my best to keep you updated on our busy household!

Two Week Stats

Hudson had his two week check up yesterday and everything looks great!  He has gained a whole pound - up to 8 lbs 6 oz now and has grown a 1/2 inch in length - up to 20 1/2 inches now.  He is a very good eater and is a little bit better at sleeping through the day instead of night, but it still isn't horrible.

Out and About

Sunday, we went to the mall with Mommy & Aunt Net to finish up some last minute Christmas shopping.
Monday night, we went to dinner for Mommy's work Christmas party.  Baby Wyatt (who really isn't a baby anymore, I just like to call him that) got to meet Hudson for the first time.

Fun With a Box

Forget toys - I had so much fun with this box I don't need any new ones!  Well.....on second thought there are few things I would like to have for Christmas, but this box was pretty cool!

Santa

Mommy & Daddy took us to see Santa a few days ago.  They have some pretty cool stuff to do at Bass Pro while you are waiting too like ride on a carousel and go down the slide.  They said baby brother was definitely the youngest child that they've seen there this year - he was only 13 days old!

Picture Time

Trying to get a family picture - this is the best one of many!
 Cheesin' it up!
Just relaxin'

Visitors

Aunt Shawnette & Uncle Charley have stopped by a few times to hang out since Hudson's arrival.  Aunt Shawnette even read me a book while they were here!

Hanging at Home

Ready for his 1st doctor's visit.  Sorry this picture is sideways but Mommy really wanted to share it all with you and the blog was not cooperating well. The visit went well, he has only lost 1 oz, his height and weight are measuring in the 25 percentile and head is in the 50th percentile (just like his big sister :).

Snow

Monday we got a little dusting of snow and I really wanted to make snow balls but there just wasn't enough.  Daddy bundled me up and let me play around in it for a little while but we didn't stay outside for long because it was VERY cold!

Hudson Alexander Gray

 What is going on?!
Meeting brother for the 1st time
It was a little difficult to get us all looking good at the same time
Hudson was born Saturday December 3 at 10:52 PM.  He weighed 7 lbs 5 oz and is 20 inches long.  Everyone is doing very well and we are all working on adjusting to the changes at home.  Maddi is a very proud big sister and is being a very good helper.  We are very excited for you all to meet him!

Christmas Lights

Saturday, I helped Daddy put Christmas lights outside.  It was a little bit chilly so I had to wear my hat and mittens.  Mommy even helped a little bit which may have helped move things along for baby brother's arrival later that night!

Baby Brother Update

Mommy had a Dr appointment today and it sounds like baby brother will be here soon!!!  I came 11 days early and the dr said we should be prepared for baby brother to do the same.  His room is all ready to go, clothes have been washed and put in his dresser, diaper bag is packed, Mommy is working on getting her bag ready and I can't wait to meet him.  The next appointment is Monday, we'll see how it goes!

Christmas Already?

In preparation for baby brother's arrival, Mommy & Daddy wanted to go ahead and get all of the Christmas decorations up.  I had a great time helping with the ornaments on the tree!  And if you notice, Buddy the Elf is hanging out in these pictures.  He goes to the North Pole to see Santa every night and tell him how good I've been.  I love getting up each day and looking for his new spot in the house!

Leaves, Leaves, and More Leaves

Last Saturday, I helped Daddy rake up all the leaves in the yard.  I did such a good job that our neighbor Sam came over and asked if he could hire me to do his yard!

Happy Halloween!

Since Tangled is my favorite movie, of course I had to be Rapunzel for Halloween!  My wig was bugging me because it was in my face so Mommy put a braid in it and some flowers just like the movie.  I had lots of fun trick-or-treating and got lots of candy, but my shoes started hurting my feet so we called it quits a little early.

Shower

Mommy's friend Bobbi threw a baby shower for her on Sunday and everyone made baby brother a block.  I even got to make one too!

So, everyone knows we are definitely Cardinals fans so of course one of the gifts was a Cardinals ABC book!

Visitors

Nana Elaine & Papa Bill came for a visit last weekend.  I keep saying that they should come back real soon!
Nana Elaine painted these really cool pumpkins and brought them for us - it's Daddy, me, and Mommy!
They brought me a Princess Bingo game and I wanted to play it ALOT!

Last Day of Soccer

Saturday was my last day of soccer.  We all got trophies (which I am really proud of and had to put on the fireplace when we got home) and then we went to Incredible Pizza where I got to enjoy some yummy pizza, play some games, and ride in a go cart with Daddy.
